Just got my biggest piece by John C this past week. He made sure I was comfortable and smashed out an insane tattoo so quickly. Hes also just such a nice guy and makes it a crazy enjoyable experience! I cant wait to keep adding to my leg!
I have been tattooed by the artist John Calcanes a handful of times now and I can truly say I will never have to switch artists. He is an amazing tattoo artist who works with you creatively to make the best possible art for your body. On top of that he is a great person and makes you feel comfortable while youre in the shop. He is easy to talk to if you feel like talking or if you rather stay quiet and be distracted in other ways he usually has a movie playing on his iPad to keep you busy (Ace Ventura while I was there). He checks all the boxes for me in what I want from a tattoo artist and Im looking forward to all my future appointments with John.
I have been going to cliffs tattoo for almost 20 years now and all the artists are amazing, but one stands out and captures my vision and knocks it outta box!! John Peter calcanes has done my last 2 tattoos and is absolutely amazing!! Not only do I recommend cliffs but I highly recommend John!! Photos below are still a work in progress I have one more session to go..
